After invent full day Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan invites JMM leader Champai Soren to take oath as Jharkhand CM.
This comes after Hemant Soren Resigned as chief minister of Jharkhand and was subsequently arrested by the enforcement directorate in land scam case.
Mahagathbandhan choose Shibu Soren loyalist Champai Soren as the next leader.
The JMM had earlier submitted a list of 47 MLA consent supporting the candidate choice.
Today evening the Guv met Champai along with 4 senior MLAs, but asked them to wait before forming a new government as he feared poaching. Congress then offered to take all MLAs to Hyderabad and booked 2 charter planes. 44 MLAs boarded the charter flight which later couldn't take off due to bad weather. MLAs we're then shifted to Corcuit House. Now late night the Guv has invited Champai Soren to take oath as new CM. He has a 10-day period to prove majority.
